Paris Jackson is fighting to stop the executor of her late father Michael Jackson’s estate from collecting nearly $110 million in fees, accusing him of mishandling financial records.
The 28-year-old singer filed a new motion challenging John Branca’s compensation after he allegedly failed to provide complete financial accountings for 2023 and 2024, according to Rolling Stone.
Paris claims Branca missed a Sept. 15 deadline he established himself, submitting paperwork she describes as incomplete or “nothing more than a placeholder.” Despite those alleged shortcomings, Branca requested $109.2 million in combined payments for himself, attorneys, and late co-executor John McClain.
“Paris respectfully submits that the gap between executor’s level of compensation and his persistent incompetence is intolerable,” her filing states.

She wants the court to reduce Branca’s compensation rate from 15 percent to 10 percent, with retroactive adjustments.
The estate strongly disputes her allegations.
“It is an understatement to say that this motion is completely without merit,” a spokesperson said, arguing that Branca receives a court-approved management fee rather than executor compensation.
The latest legal drama follows Paris’ earlier court victory requiring three estate attorneys to return $625,000 in bonuses.
Branca has overseen Michael’s business affairs since the singer’s 2009 death, helping transform an estate burdened with more than $500 million in debt into a multibillion-dollar enterprise.
Paris and her brothers, Prince and Bigi, are beneficiaries of the estate.
