Lil Tjay is switching up his energy after the Offset shooting situation went global.
The Bronx rapper, who was briefly arrested after the April 6 incident, is now keeping things tight-lipped after initially going public with accusations and explosive comments.
“I’m just as confused as everyone else about that,” Tjay told Billboard, adding, “My lawyer told me not to touch on it too much.”

Up until this point, Tjay has spoken openly about the situation and even accused the Migos’ rapper of being a “rat.”
“The last thing I see was Offset looking at me like this: ‘Yo, that n—a shot me, that n—a shot me!’” he told reporters at the time. “N—a is a rat, n—a. … I didn’t do no damn fighting. Did I shoot? That s–t is crazy. I will smack the s–t out of Offset. He would never play like that with me in his life. Ask Offset.”
His lawyer made it clear he was not involved in the shooting and has not been charged, urging people to avoid jumping to conclusions.
He now says he is gearing up to drop an album. The situation between him and Offset has not been squashed and fans are concerned about what will happen if the rappers cross paths again.
