Justin Combs’ attorney is blasting federal agencies who raided Diddy’s homes last month, accusing them of using the press to get the evidence they want.
Jeffrey Lichtman appeared on an episode of Beyond the Legal Limit, where he addressed the raids.
“They were all there, ready to record it. They were all there, told about it and breathlessly reporting what anonymous agents of law enforcement are telling them about what they’re looking for, evidence of sex trafficking,” he said.
Lichtman called their actions “evil.”
He continued: “That’s bad because that’s just an evil thing for our government or law enforcement to do. By using the press to leak what they’re looking for, they’re just dirtying a potentially future jury pool.”
Producer Lil Rod The filed a lawsuit claiming that Diddy’s sons helped their father procure underage girls and sex workers and that some were provided drinks that had been laced with drugs at Diddy’s direction.
“They are all lies! This is a clear example of a desperate person taking desperate measures in hopes of a pay day,” Justin’s rep said in a statement at the time. “There will be legal consequences for ALL defamatory statements made about the Combs family.”
