Amanda Batula is reportedly having second thoughts about joining Bravo’s In the City, with one insider claiming the former Summer House star is already considering leaving the spinoff.
According to Bravo and Cocktails, Amanda allegedly admitted during a recent football game that filming the new series felt unnatural because she wasn’t particularly close to the people involved.
“She said she doesn’t think she is going to continue filming,” the source claimed.
Another source told Queens of Bravo that Amanda hasn’t filmed anything for the upcoming season and may never have been involved in production.
Amanda exited Summer House after her relationship with West Wilson became public. Their romance sparked an uproar among fans because West previously dated Ciara Miller, a close friend of Amanda’s, amid Amanda’s separation from husband Kyle Cooke.
In June, an insider told Us Weekly that producers didn’t invite Amanda back for Season 11 because they worried her strained cast relationships would make filming unpleasant. The majority of viewers are calling for Bravo to give Amanda the axe.
Another source said she wanted to focus on her mental health after the reunion.
“Amanda doesn’t feel those are her genuine friendships anymore and wants to focus on her next chapter,” the insider explained.
Reports about Amanda’s relationship with West have been mixed. While some reports claim the couple are happy together, others suggest West feels obligated to stay with her and is secretly getting women’s numbers on the side.
