GloRilla says that since her music has blown up, rappers have been sliding into her DMs and she’s been turning them down.
“A lot of the times I don’t open them. But like sometimes they’ll try to get me like, they’ll DM me like, ‘Let’s do a song or let’s work,’ and so I give them my number because I actually, probably, you know what I’m saying, like, ‘Ok I f-ck with their music,'” she said on Angela Yee’s Lip Service.
She continued: “And when I do it, they’ll text me on some whole other shit and I’ll never text back. But like, I don’t want to talk to no like, when it comes to the industry shit I don’t want to talk to nobody like that.”
GloRilla rose to fame after releasing her 2022 song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” (with Hitkidd). The song is nominated for Best Rap Performance at 65th Annual Grammy Awards. Her single “Tomorrow 2” (featuring Cardi B), reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
