Big30 says he has nothing to confess to in the alleged kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane, and he isn’t changing his story because of what investigators claim to have uncovered.
In a new interview with Big Bank, the Memphis rapper denied participating in the alleged crime, which authorities have linked to Pooh Shiesty and his father.
“What they said we did in that paperwork, we didn’t do. It didn’t happen,” he told the host.
The rapper’s comments come as his legal situation continues to draw scrutiny, particularly because he is awaiting trial outside of jail while Pooh Shiesty remains detained without bond.
Big30 has already rejected social media rumors that he cooperated with law enforcement and is now defending himself against the underlying allegations.
“Give a f–k how they look at it,” he said. “I ain’t do that.”
He also expressed frustration with online commentators who have been sharing theories about the alleged robbery. Big30 insisted he feels confident about his legal position.
“I feel good about my situation,” he said, adding that prosecutors will have to prove their case in the courtroom.
“You can’t make me say that,” he maintained.
