Drake has denied sending a cease and desist to his rap rival Kendrick Lamar after the Compton rapper announced he is the headliner of next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
Wack 100 first claimed that Drake sent the legal document to K.Dot to prevent the rapper from performing “Not Like Us,” his Billboard no.1 diss track aimed at the Canadian rapper.
“The rumors are completely false,” a rep for Drake stated.
“He’s trying to get the NFL to restrict Kendrick,” Wack claimed at the time.
In the song, the track accuses Drake of preying on minors as well as members of his entourage.
The comments coame shortly after The breakfast Club cohost Charlamagne Tha God made similar claims.
Wack added, “If he does ‘Not Like Us’ at the Super Bowl, I want the opening cords and then just the hook. If you think that the NFL and Roc Nation and a bunch of other people didn’t get a whole bunch of legal letters yesterday from people with owls as their stamp. I promise you, you’re not calling me a pedoph-le at the Super Bowl. I guarantee you, the OVO people sent so many legal letters yesterday.”
