Beyonce is in the midst of her historic Renaissance tour, and just a few days ago it was impossible to get tickets for her US dates for less than a few hundred dollars.
But Media Take Out confirmed that demand for Beyonce tickets has plummeted. Media Take Out learned that Beyonce tickets are now selling for as low as just $30 – well under the face value of the tickets.
What happened? When Beyonce announced her tour, resellers and ticket brokers quickly bought up all the tickets and jacked up the prices, Media Take Out confirmed.
Now those same tickets have dropped in value – and the ticket brokers are being left holding the bag. Media Take Out calculated that tens of millions of dollars has been lost by those brokers.
The good news is that Beyonce still got her money – given that the tickets were bought (at face value) by the brokers. The better news is that Beyonce tickets are now VERY affordable, and her fans can now get to go to her US shows, without having to take out a mortgage on their homes.
