Tyrese is being dragged back to court by his ex-wife Samantha Gibson because he is reportedly not paying the full monthly child support payments ordered to her by the court.
Tyrese was ordered to pay $10,690 monthly child support but according to court documents obtained from The Blast, the singer has paid less than half of the required child support amount in December 2023 and January 2024.
Tyrese addressed his court dealings with Samantha in his 2023 song, “Love transaction.”
“Flying high in everything until you took the wind from beneath my wings… Thought that love shouldn’t cost a thing. So why must I pay all these lawyer fees? Need a resolution, was it an illusion? Can’t get no satisfaction. And now you’ve got me asking… Is this love? Oh, is this love? Or is it just a transaction?…” he sings, later adding “20,000 isn’t child support, we both know just who that money’s for…”
Tyrese has not addressed the latest filing in court.
