Blake Robertson says he never abused Hayley Hendrich, pushing back against allegations his former fiancée made as their turbulent relationship plays out on The Ultimatum.
The 26-year-old reality star told Page Six that he felt “unsafe” during an October 2025 dispute and claimed his actions were “self-defense.”
“I did not” assault Hayley, Blake said. “That was self-defense to get her away from me.”
Hayley, 23, offered a different account on the What’s the Reality podcast. She alleged Blake pushed her against a car during one argument and later grabbed her sweatshirt while she was seated inside the Texas home they once shared.
Blake was arrested on October 18 and booked on a Class C misdemeanor assault charge, according to a booking summary. Hayley ultimately declined to press charges. Blake’s lawyer previously said prosecutors dismissed the case and the records were expunged.
Blake denied grabbing Hayley in anger. He said he attempted to “lift her off of the chair gently” because she would not leave the home, then went to his father’s residence and contacted police himself.
“Why would I call the police on Hayley if I thought that I did something that would lead to my own arrest?” he said.
Blake and Hayley appeared on season 4 of The Ultimatum after he asked her to either marry him or end their relationship. They left the experiment engaged but split months later. Hayley has said revisiting the allegations publicly has been “very hard.”
