Salley Carson believes Amanda Batula’s romance with West Wilson began earlier than the pair has suggested, and she says Amanda blasted her while keeping that relationship private.
The 31-year-old Southern Charm personality shared her side of the dispute on a recent episode of In the Twot Seat, hosted by Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp.
Salley said she kissed Kyle Cooke, 43, in New York after he and Amanda, 34, separated in January and claimed Amanda learned about the encounter and warned Kyle against her.
“She’s got a reputation,” Salley recalled Amanda allegedly saying.
“When she’s saying that about me, she’s already f***ing West,” she said. “I’m like, projection.”
Salley explained that the reputation comment appeared to be based on her portrayal on Southern Charm rather than a personal relationship with Amanda.
“You of all people should understand what reality TV is like,” she said. “You don’t really judge someone for their edit necessarily.”
Tamra backed her up, asking listeners to consider how viewers were now receiving Amanda.
“Let’s talk about how she’s being perceived on the show right now,” Tamra said. “You can’t throw that at people.”
Amanda went public with West in March, two months after announcing her separation from Kyle. Salley, however, said their chemistry during Summer House season 10 made her question that timeline.
“It looks like they were together last summer,” she said.
Salley is currently casually dating Kyle.
