Steph Curry: My Family Has Beautiful Hair And Light Eyes … Black Twitter REACTS

Steph Curry recently did an interview with Wired to promote his new documentary, Underrated. And the interview has a lot of Black people triggered, because Steph praised his family’s light eyes and surly hair, Media take Out has learned.

In this interview, Steph answers googles most asked questions. At 7:08-7:15, Steph Curry was asked about his eye color and he replied, “I’m the green eyed monster as my mom used to call me when I was a kid…we have some good eyes in our family”.

Later on in the interview, he praised his family for also having, “beautiful hair.”

Many of the NBA superstar’s fans are triggered by these comments – which are being viewed as “colorist.” What do you think – is he being honest, or colorist?

Steph is a legendary basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Widely regarded as the greatest shooter and one of the greatest players of all time, Curry is credited with revolutionizing the sport by inspiring teams and players to take more three-point shots. He is a four-time NBA champion, a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), an NBA Finals MVP, an NBA All-Star Game MVP, a nine-time NBA All-Star, and a nine-time All-NBA selection, including four times on the first team.

Curry is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and the older brother of current NBA player Seth Curry. He played college basketball for the Davidson Wildcats, where he set career scoring records for Davidson and the Southern Conference, was named conference player of the year twice, and set the single-season NCAA record during his sophomore year for most three-pointers made (162). Curry was selected by the Warriors as the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft.
