Soulja Boy Seeks DNA Test as Child Support Fight Turns UGLY!

Soulja Boy wants a DNA test before a court decides whether he should pay child support for 3-year-old KeAndre Cortez Way.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper said he is not confident that he is KeAndre’s father. The filing comes after his ex, Jackilyn Martinez, sued him in late 2025, seeking custody of the child and asking that Soulja be granted visitation.

Martinez also requested child support. In her court papers, she claimed Soulja had occasionally sent her money, but only after she “begged him to do so.”

Soulja checked boxes indicating that he would split pregnancy-related costs and expenses from the legal dispute if he is confirmed to be KeAndre’s father.

The filing has also included a heated exchange between Soulja and Martinez’s attorneys. Martinez attached an email she says the musician sent to her legal team after the rapper was contacted.

“Stop emailing me, you dumb b—h. There will be no litigation or settlement idk who the f–k u think u talking to,” the message read.

Martinez is asking the court to formalize custody, visitation and financial support for her son, while Soulja is seeking confirmation that he is the child’s father before agreeing to the obligations she has requested.

Since becoming famous, Soulja Boy has faced a slew of legal challenges.

The rapper was convicted on a felony weapons charge in 2017 and received five years of probation. In 2019, he was sentenced to 240 days in jail after authorities said ammunition was discovered at his California home, violating that probation. More recently, a Los Angeles County jury found him liable in April 2025 for sexually assaulting and physically and emotionally abusing a former assistant. The woman was awarded more than $4 million in damages. Soulja Boy denied the allegations against him, and his attorneys challenged the verdict.
