Prosecutors Say More Charges Are Coming in Lil Durk Federal Case!

Lil Durk’s federal case in Los Angeles is getting more serious.

Federal prosecutors said in a June 3 filing that they plan to bring new charges against Durk, whose legal name is Durk Banks, including Murder in Aid of Racketeering and conspiracy to commit stalking. The disclosure came as prosecutors argued against co-defendant DeAndre Wilson’s request to be released from jail while the case continues.

Durk has pleaded not guilty in the federal murder-for-hire case, which centers on an alleged 2022 plot to kill rapper Quando Rondo in Los Angeles. Prosecutors say the intended target survived, but Quando’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, was killed near the Beverly Center.

Wilson had argued that new charges could slow the case and weaken the government’s push to keep him detained, but prosecutors rejected that idea. The filing alleges Wilson was out on bond in a separate Chicago murder case when the Los Angeles shooting occurred. He was later acquitted in that case.

“Defendant also falsely suggests that his role in the Los Angeles murder ‘is materially subordinate to every other charged defendant,’” the filing reads, per AllHipHop.

According to prosecutors, Wilson helped Durk recruit hitmen from Chicago and traveled with them to California. The government claims the group followed Quando from August 18 to August 19, 2022, before the shooting. Prosecutors also said two vehicles were used during the alleged pursuit, and three co-defendants later opened fire with several weapons, including a machine gun, and they are using video from after Lul Pab was killed to help strengthen their case.

“Surveillance video shows that less than 45 minutes later, while S.R.’s bullet-riddled body was being removed from a vehicle, defendant was ordering food and laughing with his co-conspirators.”

Durk remains jailed after a judge denied his bond request. The case is currently set for trial in August 2026.
