Porsha Williams’ ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, has been indicted on two federal felony tax charges after prosecutors accused him of filing false returns that allegedly understated his income and business sales.
The businessman was indicted Tuesday, Oct. 27, in federal court in Georgia on two counts of assisting in preparing and filing false federal tax returns, according to court documents TMZ obtained.
Prosecutors allege Simon submitted paperwork in March 2021 claiming he had “$0” in taxable income, despite allegedly knowing he earned more.
The filing also listed more than $45 million in gross sales for his company, Simcol Petroleum Limited, which authorities claim was underreported. A second filing in July 2021 allegedly listed just $58,231 in taxable income alongside nearly $31 million in company sales.

Authorities have reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Simon, though it remains unclear whether they have taken him into custody.
The indictment comes after a difficult stretch for Simon, whose marriage to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star ended in a bitter divorce.
Porsha married Simon in November 2022 before filing for divorce in February 2024, just 15 months later. Earlier this year, she reportedly secured their multimillion-dollar Atlanta mansion and a seven-figure divorce settlement.
Simon was also deported from the United States in 2025 following immigration issues.
The allegations against him have not been proven in court.
