Nick Cannon recently appeared on The Breakfast Club, where he talked about co-parenting ahead of his upcoming Netflix documentary. When asked if people think he favors Bre Tiesi because she is often seen with him online, Nick said the reason is simple.
“I think the reason why people see that, and I understand, is because she’s in media like that,” he said. “She’s … social media is part of her business. She’s always posting.”
Bre, who appears on the Netflix series, Selling Sunset, and has been accused of being Anti-Black by viewers. She has been more open about her parenting dynamic with Nick, before also mentioning Brittany Bell, who shares three children with him.
“She’s literally a psychologist,” Nick explained. “In the space with like children and stuff, she’s like, ‘This isn’t good for my actual career to always be looked at as one of the baby mamas.’ So, I have to respect that energy.”
Nick said he spends a lot of time at Brittany’s home because of their children’s ages and routines.
“I’m probably at that household and with those kids more than anybody just because of the amount of kids and they’re in school and stuff,” he said. “But she’s like, ‘I don’t want cameras and all that. If I do, I want to be able to control the narrative because I’m a doctor.’ You know what I mean?”
Nick said he hopes his Netflix documentary helps people understand that his love and respect for the mothers of his children is not based on who posts the most.
