Rapper Mysonne recently dropped a diss track aimed at Troy Ave weeks after Troy testified against Taxstone in court.
“For you, it’s all about the money my n-gga/ Keep making jokes/ I guess this sh-t is funny my n-gga/ But you got your man killed, got shot how many times?/ You don’t see how your karma keep coming, my n-gga?” he rapped on “Rolland ( Troy Ave) It ain’t All About The Money.”
Troy Ave recent dropped dropped a reworking of his 2021 track “Money Dance 1-2-3.” The diss takes aim at Mysonne as well as Maino, Taxstone and Joe Budden.
Taxstone was convicted last month in New York of manslaughter in connection with the 2016 shooting of a bodyguard during a concert at Irving Plaza.
“When the shot goes off I see the light from the spark and I hear the shot,” Troy Ave testified in court. “This is all happening fast. I get up and start fighting Taxstone, trying to take him, grab the gun, and another shot goes off. I put my leg up to kind of block the shot from hitting me in the face or chest.”
“I got up,” he continued. “I’d rather die fighting. People die from leg shots. I’d rather die fighting than laying on the ground. I got up immediately.”
