Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are offering very different versions of life behind the scenes as their divorce continues.
New court docs reveal that Kandi recently asked a Fulton County judge to set temporary guidelines around parenting time and child support. In her request, she stated that she has covered the children’s daily expenses on her own and seeks a clear schedule to avoid conflict. She also described tension around the holidays, claiming plans for a Christmas trip to New York became an issue after she had already paid for travel. According to Kandi, court involvement is necessary to prevent disruption of parenting time.

Todd strongly disputed that narrative. In his response, he said he has acted as the children’s primary caregiver, especially while Kandi worked out of state. He stated that he managed school routines and daily care and denied interfering with her time. Addressing the holiday dispute, Toddsaid he personally drove the children to New York so they could spend Christmas with their mother.
Money is another point of contention. Kandi stated that Todd has not consistently contributed to costs such as childcare and medical expenses. He countered that expenses were shared by agreement and said he never abandoned financial responsibility.
Both acknowledged that a temporary court order may be necessary if they cannot resolve matters privately.
