Kai Cenat’s company is being sued for more than $330,000 by a man who claims he nearly suffered heatstroke twice while attending a Streamer University event in Manhattan.
In a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Caleb Gottfried, who goes by SNVRK, alleges that unsafe conditions at the event left him close to overheating on two separate occasions, and he also claims that NYPD officers witnessed what happened.
Gottfried blamed the incidents on what he described as “negligent crowd control and total failure to provide standard safety and ventilation measures.”

He also alleges that his image later appeared in a commercial for the event without his permission.
According to the lawsuit, Gottfried claims Cenat’s company used him as “background talent” even though he never signed a release or waiver allowing his likeness to appear in the advertisement.
The event, held at a college in Manhattan last month, drew a large crowd as part of Cenat’s Streamer University project, which brings online creators together for classes, collaborations and live content.

Gottfried is seeking more than $330,000 in damages over the alleged health risks and unauthorized use of his image. Another man has also filed a separate lawsuit claiming he was beaten by a member of the streamer’s security team.
