Joe Budden Hopes Drake’s ICEMAN Features J. Cole Diss!

Drake is officially gearing up for the release of his next album, ICEMAN, and the rollout is already sparking conversation.

The rapper confirmed earlier this week that the project will arrive on May 15 after unveiling a large ice installation in Toronto that doubled as a teaser. Fans quickly gathered around the structure, attempting to uncover clues hidden inside, with some people using open flames and tools to break into the display.

“As Toronto’s Fire Chief, my top priority is keeping Torontonians safe,” Fire Chief Jim Jessop said in a statement. “Large numbers of individuals [had] gathered to attempt to melt the ice using flammable liquids, and open flames in an uncontrolled environment which results in an immediate threat to life.”

Amid the buzz, Joe Budden weighed in on what listeners might hear when the album drops. On a recent episode of his podcast, he speculated about potential lyrical targets.

“I wanna hear the Cole diss on Drake’s album,” Budden said. “Yes, I think he’s getting dissed.”

J. Cole previously stepped into Drake’s public feud with Kendrick Lamar before later apologizing and stepping away.

Drake has not confirmed any details about the album’s tracklist, but he has released several singles leading up to the project, including “What Did I Miss?” and “Which One.”
