GRANDPA OR DADDY? Jermaine Jackson Hits The Red Carpet Looking FRAIL With His 27-Year-Old “Wife”… And Their Toddler Is Stealing The Show!
The Jackson family descended upon Berlin on April 10, 2026, for the global fan premiere of the highly anticipated biopic, Michael. While the night was supposed to be all about Jaafar Jackson taking on the role of his legendary uncle, the King of Pop, all eyes were on the family patriarch, Jermaine Jackson.
At 71 years old, Jermaine is looking every bit the “elder statesman,” but he’s still out here living like a young man! Jermaine hit the carpet with his much younger “wife,” Maday Velazquez. Get this—Maday is only 27 years old! That’s right, she’s younger than Jermaine’s nephew, Prince Jackson! The age gap is giving “grandfather and granddaughter,” but clearly, Jermaine is still trying to keep up with the youth.
A Tiny Dancer In The Mix
The couple didn’t come alone. They brought along their youngest son, and honey, the “Jackson Gene” is clearly strong in this one! While Jermaine and Maday tried to pose for the cameras, the toddler decided the red carpet was his personal stage. He broke away from his parents and started busting moves right in front of the flashing bulbs!
Even when Jermaine took the stage to give a tearful speech about how proud he is of Jaafar, the little one wouldn’t sit still. He kept on dancing in the background while the crowd looked on in amusement. It looks like Jermaine has a new “star” on his hands, even if he has to chase him around with a walker!
The Jackson Dynasty Reunited
The premiere was a rare “all hands on deck” moment for the royal family of pop. Michael’s sons, Prince (29) and Bigi(formerly Blanket, 24), made a rare joint appearance. Prince kept it classic in a black suit and red shirt, while Bigi looked like a literal mini-MJ in a jacket with gold striping and that signature armband.
Also in the building were the original brothers—Jackie, Marlon, and Jermaine—along with the next generation, including Jermajesty and Randy Jackson Jr. It’s clear the family is putting up a united front before the movie hits theaters on April 24.
Is Jermaine Doing Too Much?
While it’s beautiful to see the family supporting Jaafar’s big break, people can’t help but whisper about Jermaine’s domestic situation. Maday is literally forty-four years younger than him.
One fan pointed out that Jermaine is out here having toddlers at 70 while his oldest kids are middle-aged. It’s a lot to process! Jermaine told the crowd that Jaafar is a “fine human being,” but we’re wondering if Jermaine has enough energy to raise another “fine human being” with a woman who wasn’t even born when Dangerous came out!
