Annemarie Wiley says she spent 14 years “walking on eggshells” amid her domestic violence allegations and ongoing divorce from her estranged husband, Marcellus Wiley.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 42, participated in the viral “preparing for my documentary” trend Friday following estranged husband Marcellus’s recent domestic battery arrest.
“Preparing for my Netflix documentary on surviving reality TV ‘villain’ editing, a public attack on my profession, and secretly walking on eggshells for 14 years,” she wrote across a video showing her preparing to sit for an interview.
Annemarie and Marcellus, 51, were together for 14 years. She is now seeking a divorce after accusing the former football player of assault, rape and threatening to kill her.
In an emotional caption, Annemarie said she managed to keep smiling through the upheaval because of her faith.
“As humans, we have a low tolerance for discomfort,” she wrote. “We naturally seek what feels good and avoid what feels hard, uncertain, or uncomfortable.”
Annemarie joined RHOBH for season 13 but left after one season. During her run, she faced criticism over comments about her work as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. She later sued the American Society of Anesthesiologists for defamation, alleging it damaged her reputation. The organization had publicly slammed how her professional title was discussed on the show.
