Yesterday was the funeral of DC Youngly’s wife and life partner Jackie Oh. The two shared three children together, and it’s clear that the couple truly loved each other.
At the transition ceremony, DC Youngfly stood up and gave a moving speech, where he talked about his faith in God, and his need to show strength for the couple’s children.
It was a touching speech, that inspired those gathered at the funeral. We’re all praying for DC Youngfly and his entire family.
DC Youngfly is widely known by his stage name D.C. Young Fly, is an American comedian, actor and musician. He is well known for his internet videos, and live comedy shows as part of the 85 South Show, alongside fellow Wild ‘n Out cast mates Chico Bean and Karlous Miller.
Starting in 2013, Whitfield started posting comedy videos on the Vine app before the app was shut down and later shifted over to Instagram where he began posting his “roasting session” videos which featured Whitfield mostly mocking famous people which caught the attention of celebrities like as Kevin Hart, Michael Blackson, and LeBron James, and many more, as well as doing parodies.
In 2015, he became a recurring cast member of the improv comedy series Wild ‘n Out in the seventh season. He was named the “Rookie of the Year” after his first season. He was the team captain of the “Black Squad” twice (once in season 11 and another, as part of the 85 South Show Podcast in season 12). He is currently the most followed cast member on Instagram.
