Chris Rock has reacted to Donald Trump’s claims he will soon be arrested over payment he allegedly made to porn actress Stormy Daniels while he was running for president.
“Are you guys really going to arrest Trump? Do you know that this is only going to make him more popular?” Chris Rock said per Deadline. “It is like arresting 2Pac. He’s just going to sell more records. Are you stupid? He slept with a porn star and paid off someone so his wife wouldn’t find out. That’s romantic.”
On his Truth Social site, he wrote: “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”
Only a handful of people showed up to protest.
Trump has always denied wrongdoing.
“I did absolutely nothing wrong, I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I have wanted to have an affair with Stormy Daniels,” Trump said on his social media site Truth Social. “I relied on counsel in order to resolve this extortion of me.”
