Cassie Says She’s Left the U.S. and Has No Plans to Return!

Casandra “Cassie” Ventura Fine has revealed in a May 1 declaration connected to her ongoing legal fight with male escort Clayton Howard that she no longer lives in California or anywhere else in the country.

“I am not a resident of the State of California. I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States,” Cassie, 39, stated in the filing.

The declaration came as the singer asked that the case be transferred from California to New York and told the court that New York would make travel for proceedings “significantly more convenient.” She did not share where she has relocated.

The case brought by Howard stems from allegations involving alleged drug-fueled “freak-offs” that he says he was hired for by Cassie and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Those allegations later surfaced during Diddy’s federal case.

Cassie testified in May 2025 while pregnant with her third child. During her time on the stand, she described her long relationship with Diddy, the end of their relationship in 2018, and the 2023 lawsuit she filed accusing him of sex trafficking and sexual assault.

The suit was dropped one day after Ventura Fine and Combs reached a $20 million settlement.

Diddy, 56, was convicted on July 2, 2025, of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Jurors acquitted him of racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He later received a 50-month prison sentence.
