Britney Spears’ loved ones are reportedly becoming increasingly concerned about the star and according to a new report, the star’s husband Sam Asghari, manager, and doctors tried to stage an intervention.
According to TMZ, the pop singer is struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. The intervention was meant to go down on Tuesday but it was allegedly called off after Britney became “somewhat aware” of the plan. As a compromise, the star went to see a doctor the following day.
Britney was released from her conservatorship in November 2021, addressed the reports, denying such claims.
“This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward,” she wrote on social media.
Fans were concerned about the star a few weeks back after she was seen allegedly having a meltdown in a restaurant and her husband walked away and left her as fans filmed.
