Britney Spears is in hot water after she was caught driving without her driving license or insurance.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Britneywas caught by CHP and pulled over for driving without a license or insurance in her car on September 10, 2023.
The cops cited “failure to provide a peace officer evidence of financial responsibility” in their report. The pop princess must pay a $1,140 fine by California Highway Patrol and must pay up by October 24, 2023.
Recently, Britney spoke out after fans called the cops to her home after she posted a video of herself dancing with prop knives.
Britney had stated in the original post that the knives were fake. In her statement, she doubled down.
“I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA,” she wrote on Instagram.
“These are not real knives. No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance I was inspired by !!!” she added. “Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼!”
