Brandi Glanville is opening up about a frightening health crisis that she says could have cost her her life.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 53, quietly underwent a procedure earlier this month after doctors discovered her breast implants were leaking and ruptured.
The finding came as Brandi was already battling a mysterious facial condition that began after filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco. “I’m just scared to death,” Brandi said ahead of the surgery. “It’s something that I could die from if I hadn’t figured it out.”
For years, Brandi struggled with unexplained symptoms including blurred vision, stiffness, and rapid aging. Multiple doctor visits failed to connect the dots until she noticed a change in her body and pushed for further testing.
A sonogram revealed one implant had a slow leak while the other was fully ruptured, with silicone spreading into her lymph nodes. “She told me, ‘You need to get those out yesterday,’” Brandi recalled.
The reality star says connecting with other women online helped her realize many shared similar symptoms and also had implants. “We didn’t even realize how many of us had them,” she said.
Now recovering, Brandi just wants to move on and heal. “I want to feel like myself again,” she said. “I want my life back.”
