Boosie Badazz is speaking out about being snubbed by the Grammys…but the rapper wsays he knows why.

“ROCKETMAN N BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL,” he wrote. “DO YALL THINK MY MUSIC DONT GET NOMINATED FOR AWARDS BECAUSE I KEEP IT REAL AND SPEAK MY MIND ON THINGS THAT I DONT AGREE WITH??? BECAUSE NOBODY MAKES MUSIC LIKE BOOSIE[.] DO WE NOT CHERISH BLACK WOMEN ANYMORE? LISTEN TO THE LYRICS ON ROCKETMAN,” he wrote on X.

Boosie goes viral often for his personal views and in the past he has been accused of being a homophobe.

In the comments, fans disagreed.

“Bra, them songs just ain’t award worthy unfortunately. Don Trip dropped 11 albums of the hardest material and he ain’t nominated either,” one follower wrote.

Another added, “Rocket man decent but that’s a tubi video shoot you just not investing no real money in yourself or your music no more. You feel you a icon but you a street level icon who chose algorithm over music.”

Boosie BadAzz began rapping in the 1990s as a member of the Southern hip-hop collective Concentration Camp, eventually pursuing a solo career in 2000 with the release of his debut album Youngest of da Camp. After leaving the label the following year, he signed with Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment to release his second studio album, For My Thugz (2002). One of the most prominent figures of Southern hip hop, he has gone on to release thirteen solo studio albums, as well as seven collaborative albums and 44 mixtapes.
