Usher and Chris Brown Cancel 4 Shows Weeks Before Brown’s Court Sentencing in London

Usher and Chris Brown have abruptly canceled four stops on their joint R&B stadium tour.

The canceled performances were scheduled for Baltimore on Oct. 17, Cincinnati on Oct. 24, Columbia, South Carolina, on Oct. 29, and Indianapolis on Oct. 31. Organizers announced the decision on Friday, Oct. 9, citing concerns about the demanding tour schedule.

According to a statement shared by Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium, the cancellations were made “to prioritize the health and well-being of the touring party and crew.” No specific illness or injury was disclosed.

The decision has also fueled speculation about ticket sales, particularly because promoters added all four canceled cities to the tour in August after what they described as overwhelming demand.

Breezy is scheduled to return to London’s Southwark Crown Court on Oct. 26 for sentencing after pleading guilty to affray in connection with a February 2023 nightclub attack. His bail conditions require him to return to the United Kingdom by Oct. 25.

However, promoters have not connected the cancellations to his court appearance.

Fans who bought tickets through Ticketmaster should receive automatic refunds and the remaining tour dates are still scheduled to proceed.
