Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kelli Potter is recovering from two broken bones after a terrifying jet ski accident in the Bahamas.
The Bravo personality revealed that she and her boyfriend, known as Jarvis, were enjoying a ride when the watercraft’s steering allegedly malfunctioned, sending them crashing into a reef.
“Yesterday was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced,” Kelli wrote on Instagram. “A gentleman took [my boyfriend Jarvis] and me for a ride in a ‘jet ski car’ – During the ride, the steering failed, and we crashed head-on FULL SPEED into the reefs.”
“I literally saw my life flash before my eyes,” she recalled.
Kelli revealed that she suffered two broken bones, including a broken foot, and shared a photo of her cast with followers.
Thankfully, she and her boyfriend both returned home safely.
“I’m just THANKFUL for God, My Man, & everyone who took care of us,” she wrote. She also tagged First Class Watersports in her Instagram post, adding, “plz do the RIGHT THING,” and “We will have story time later.”
Kelli’s contentious divorce from ex-husband Mark Ferrell made headlines earlier this year. In May, Kelli admitted they were still trying to resolve their differences.
“We are working on it,” she told Bravo’s Daily Dish. “We still have some court issues that are going on.”
