Big30 is flatly denying claims that he cooperated against Pooh Shiesty after his release from custody sparked a wave of snitching accusations online.
“Don’t believe the hype… NEVER WILL I EVER,” the Memphis rapper wrote on his Instagram Story, responding to rumors that he provided information in the federal case involving his longtime collaborator.
The speculation intensified after Big30, whose legal name is Rodney Wright Jr., was granted pretrial release while Pooh Shiesty remained behind bars. A judge also permitted Big30 to visit a recording studio so he could continue working and supporting his family.

Both rappers were accused in connection with an alleged robbery involving Gucci Mane. Prosecutors have also claimed Big30 recorded part of the incident on his cellphone.
In a filing opposing Pooh Shiesty’s bid for bail, the U.S. Attorney’s Office alleged that Shiesty wanted video proof that Gucci had released him from his 1017 contract.
