Milo Yiannopoulos spent years publicly calling for aggressive deportations but on Friday, he was deported from the United States himself.
The British conservative provocateur was sent back to the United Kingdom one day after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents detained him at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Louisiana, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
DHS said Yiannopoulos legally entered the U.S. in May 2019 but remained after his authorized stay expired. An immigration judge issued a final removal order July 22 after he did not appear for a hearing.
Border czar Tom Homan denied politics played any role in how quickly Yiannopoulos was removed.

“We don’t deport people based on political affiliation,” Homan told CNN. “As soon as we get an order of removal, our goal is removing as quick as possible, regardless of who they are.”
Yiannopoulos rose to prominence as a Breitbart editor and outspoken supporter of Donald Trump before losing major platforms amid controversy in 2017. He was also famously Kanye West’s political aide before they allegedly fell out over Ye’s plans to create an adult website.
More recently, he publicly pushed for tougher immigration enforcement. In June 2025, he wrote, “We have got to deport millions and millions and millions of people.”
Laura Loomer, a longtime rival, later claimed she had reported Yiannopoulos to ICE and the FBI.
