Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne has filed to legally remove “Pitt” from her name just days after becoming an adult.
The 18-year-old is seeking to change her full name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie, according to court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Vivienne signed the petition on July 12, the day she turned 18. She listed the reason for the request as “personal,” and her court hearing has been set for November 2.
The filing makes Vivienne the fourth of Pitt and Jolie’s six children to pursue a legal name change involving their father’s surname.
Shiloh, 20, was granted her request to change her name to Shiloh Jolie in August 2024. Maddox, 24, and Zahara, 21, are now waiting for judges to consider their petitions to become Maddox Chivan Jolie and Zahara Marley Jolie. Their hearings are scheduled for September 14 and September 28, respectively.
For Vivienne, the name is not entirely new. She was listed as “Vivienne Jolie” in the 2024 Playbill for The Outsiders, the Tony-winning Broadway musical she worked on with her mother.
Pitt and Jolie, who also share sons Pax and Knox, separated in 2016 after more than a decade together. Their divorce became final in late 2024.
