Andy Cohen was shocked to hear that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were divorcing, but their money troubles did not shock him at all.
The couple owe the IRS over $1 million in back taxes.
“There are so many clips of me saying to Kim, ‘I am worried about the way you spend your money. He is not a football player, he is a retired football player,'” he said on Andy Cohen Live. “Kroy was a retired football player. They didn’t have the football player money coming in anymore.”
The couple also owes the state of Georgia $15,000.
“The money has been a huge issue,” a source told People. “The million-dollar tax [payment] was just way too much pressure on them.”
They announced the divorce earlier this month. Kim and Kroy were married for almost 12 years and they have four kids together. Kim posted on social media that she is looking for her next “Big Papa.”
