Amy Duggar ‘P*ssed’ Family Didn’t Tell Her About Josh’s Molestation

Amy Duggar, the cousin of incarcerated sexual predator Josh Duggar, says she was “pissed” at her family for not telling her about the molestation accusations against Josh.

“I was pissed,” Amy told Vanity Fair. “I felt like I wasn’t worth telling … that they didn’t want to protect me. They didn’t want anyone to know, [and] they wanted to keep it inside their little bubble. Secrets breed in the IBLP [The Institute in Basic Life Principles]. Things are hidden.”

Last May, Josh Duggar was convicted and sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison for child pornography. He was also ordered to pay fines and special assessments of $50,100 after being charged and convicted with one count of downloading child pornography and one count of possession.

She says she even confronted him about his crimes.

“He was staying in a trailer and I went in there and I said, ‘How could you do this? … And I was very bold about that,” she said adding that he did not attempt to be “physically” involved with her because “he knew better.”
