Amina Buddafly has spoken out in defense of her ex-husband and children’s father, Peter Gunz, after he was dragged online for allegedly allowing her to become homeless.
“Day one [of] waking up in Germany after losing our home in LA. We don’t have a home, y’all. Thank God for family because we’re in Germany with my family. We’re going to be here ’til I figure it out. Because I will, as I always do. The last couple of years have been so rough,” the former Love & Hip Hop star said on social media.
After fans questioned how Gunz could allow his children to go homeless, he hopped online with comedian Godfrey to defend himself.
Gunz revealed that he had sent Amina thousands of dollars every month and that he even offered her his Dallas apartment. Amina told him her flight to Germany was only temporary as she needed a break and that she would return to the U.S., despite him urging her not to in case the Trump administration did not allow her back into the country.

After Gunz’s comments went viral, Amina hopped back online to claim he had “stepped up” and “held down” their family and that she was not trying to bash him on social media.
“I would have been in this situation a year ago had it not been for him. Shout out to Peter,” she went on.
