Trey Songz has asked a judge to throw out a lawsuit against him after he was accused of sexual assault.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Songz and his legal team demand that the 2021 case brought by Jauhara Jeffries be dismissed. Jeffries claims the singer penetrated her at a New Years Eve party back in 2018.
Jeffries claimed that he tried to pay her $200K to lie about what happened. However, a witness for Songz Mariah Thielen, accused Jeffries’ lawyer of offering her between $100K to $200K to lie to “paint him as the next R. Kelly.”
Songz has been hit with several sexual assault lawsuits.
A Jane Doe claimed Trey Songz sodomized her at a party in 2016. In the lawsuit, the woman claimed Trey allegedly invited her to a party at his Los Angeles home on 24 March 2016. He invited her upstairs but the Jane Doe, alleges that the R&B singer repeatedly asked to “get that ass” on their way upstairs. She reportedly wanted to have consensual sex with the singer but told him “no” several times to anal penetration and he allegedly had anal sex with her without her consent.
He denies all allegations against him.
