Trey Songz has turned himself in to the NYPD after he was accused of assaulting a woman at a New York bowling alley.
The alleged victim says the singer punched her in the face repeatedly while inside a bowling alley bathroom. The woman, who is allegedly an employee of the bowling alley, claims she was then dragged by her hair. She was then taken to the hospital, and police say there were minor injuries, but they were still visible.
“We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved. While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing,” Songz’s attorney, Mitch Schuster, in the statement.
A second victim at the bowling alley stepped forward to allege that Songz punched him in the eye but refused medical treatment at the scene.
Songz has been accused of assault several times over the years.
