Streamer DeenTheGreat Faces Charge After Alleged Miami Yacht Incident

DeenTheGreat is facing a charge after an incident on a Miami Beach yacht, where police say a woman accused the streamer and boxer of grabbing her arm while trying to take her phone.

The Misfits boxer, born Nurideen Shabazz, was arrested early Wednesday after officers met the woman near North Shore Drive. She told police she had been removed from the yacht after other men tried to talk to her.

In the report, police said the woman claimed DeenTheGreat told her not to be “entertaining anyone else but him.” She also told officers he tried to stop her from recording by taking her phone. The police report shows that the alleged victim had a minor scratch on her left forearm.

Investigators later viewed surveillance video from the yacht’s owner, who told police he had loaned the yacht to the streamer. Footage appeared to show DeenTheGreat asking someone to get the woman’s phone as she resisted and moved away.

Police said he told officers, after his Miranda warning, that he thought the woman had his phone. Officers said that his version of events did not match what they saw in the video.

DeenTheGreat, 25, was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and held on $2,500 bond on an attempted strongarm robbery charge.

His lawyer, Richard L. Cooper, Esq., said, “This case will be determined in a court of law, not by social media.”

DeenTheGreat has made headlines several times over the last few weeks due to his wild livestreams with embattled boxer, Adrien Broner and DDG.
