Polo G’s brother Trench Baby , real name Taurean Bartlett, has been charged with felony murder over the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Dashaun Berry.
The shooting reportedly went down in Los Angeles on June 10 where his body was found in a parking lot in the early hours of the morning. A court date has been scheduled for Trench Baby for Monday and until then, he is Los Angeles’ Men’s Central Jail, with his next court date scheduled for Nov. 27.
Trench Baby is also facing charges of first-degree residential robbery and a charge of dissuading a witness by force or threat for two separate incidents but involving the same man.
In August, both brothers were implicated in a robbery at Polo G’s home during a music video shoot.
“At that time, the suspect produced a handgun with an extended magazine and demanded that the victim transfer money to an unknown account over a money transfer service. The victim was in fear and complied. The suspect also demanded the victim empty his pockets,” the LAPD said at the time.
Polo G was cleared of all charges.
