PK Kemsley is opening up about the end of his marriage to Dorit Kemsley, and the role reality television may have played in their relationship.
During an appearance on the We Need to Talk podcast with Paul C. Brunson, PK reflected on how life changed after he and Dorit joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I’m not blaming that show for my divorce,” PK said. “I think the biggest question that I have that will never be answered is, was Dorit always going to end up where she is now, or was I responsible for putting her in that world?”
PK said he remembers happier times before the series, recalling their years in New York.
“If you talk about happy times, I remember living in Tribeca, we had a beautiful apartment, and then we had the baby, and life was pretty f–king good,” he said.
He also admitted joining the show was largely his idea after the family moved to Los Angeles.
“Who drove the bus into the wall? Me,” he said.
PK claimed the series can distort reality and create narratives that cast members begin to internalize.
“I’m looking at my wife and saying, ‘Who are you?’ It’s scary when you look at it,” he said.
The former couple announced their separation in 2024, and Dorit filed for divorce in 2025. They share two children.
PK said he has avoided publicly disputing Dorit’s claims for the sake of their family.
“I do not want to litigate my divorce publicly,” he said. “The only real victims are going to be the kids.”
