Diddy’s Ex-Lawyers Demand Nearly $582K After Walking Away From His Defamation Case!

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former lawyers want their money, and they’re asking a federal judge to make sure they can collect it.

Sher Tremonte LLP claims the imprisoned rapper and music executive owes $581,893.75 for legal work involving his defamation lawsuit against Nexstar, Ariel Mitchell and Courtney Burgess.

In a sworn court filing, attorney Michael Tremonte stated, “Exhibit A reflects that Mr. Combs owes Sher Tremonte $581,893.75 in connection with the work performed in this matter.” The firm is also seeking a charging lien, which would allow it to claim unpaid fees from any money Diddy receives through a settlement or favorable judgment.

“Sher Tremonte further requests that its charging lien…be fixed in the same amount,” the filing states.

The request follows the firm’s earlier withdrawal from representing Diddy in the case, but the disgraced music mogul has previously contested the billing.

Through spokesperson Juda Engelmayer, Diddy disputed certain charges, claiming he never approved them, but the firm argues it has documentation supporting its demand, including a spreadsheet detailing legal hours and fees.

That accounting was filed under seal, keeping the complete billing breakdown out of public view.

Diddy’s net worth is reportedly a whopping $400 million or more.

A judge has not yet approved the requested amount.
