Nicki Minaj isn’t backing away from President Donald Trump, even after several Republican candidates she supported lost their races in the midterm elections.
After Democrats won both the House and Senate on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the 43-year-old rapper took to X with a lengthy message defending Trump and addressing her critics who have been dragging her for being on the wrong side of history.
“Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT,” Minaj wrote in a 15-point post, adding, “The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION.”
Couple things: 1. Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT. 2. The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION. 3. Jesus is STILL LORD. 4. Great insight by the VICE PRESIDENT. 5. Knowledge is POWER. 6. She also declared, “Maybe now our people will WAKE UP.”
The comments came after several candidates Minaj publicly supported suffered defeats, including Michigan Republican Mike Rogers, who lost his Senate race to Democrat Abdul El-Sayed.
Republican John James also lost Michigan’s gubernatorial contest to Jocelyn Benson, while New York Republican Bruce Blakeman lost to incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Last thing: 14. Elon is STILL a trillionaire and you are STILL posting on his app. I’m sure the shareholders appreciate the dialogue. 15. #GrokBot is a phenomenal product that has significantly changed my life for the better. Thank you, @bot https://t.co/zVslOx35tx

However, Minaj had reason to celebrate one result. She congratulated Trump ally Byron Donalds on winning Florida’s gubernatorial race.
The “Super Bass” performer also addressed Elon Musk’s critics, writing, “Elon is STILL a trillionaire and you are STILL posting on his app.”
Minaj’s political posts also arrived as her former attorneys renewed their attempt to collect nearly $300,000 in allegedly unpaid legal fees related to a previous copyright lawsuit.
