NBA YoungBoy Petitions House Arrest Conditions…Rapidly Losing Weight!!

Lyndon Abioye |

NBA YoungBoy’s legal team has filed a motion to change the terms of his house arrest after claiming the rapper is struggling.

“Being confined to his home and unable to complete his employment obligations has led to great anxiety, depression, loss of weight and sleep,” attorney James P. Manasseh said via AllHipHop. “[NBA YoungBoy] has been visibly stressed and has expressed concern and loss of hope that he will be able to return to his contracted employment obligation.”

NBA YoungBoy, real name Kentrell Gaulden, walked out of a St. Martin Parish jail last July after a judge granted him permission to serve house arrest in Utah. He was released on a $1.5 million bail. The rapper has been complying with his pre-trial conditions. His attorney says the proposed changes will widen the definition of “employment-related activities” and allow the musician greater flexibility to fulfill his professional duties.

His next album is slated for release next week.
