A Memphis struggle rapper is accused of killing his girlfriend and then throwing their 2-day-old daughter into the Mississippi River. Media Take Out has learned that Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Steve Mulroy has finally gathered enough evidence to indict the rapper for their deaths.
On Tuesday, a grand jury indicted 25-year-old Brandon Isabelle on two counts of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and neglect, and aggravated kidnapping, Media Take Out confirmed. He is being held in the Shelby County Jail without bond.
On Feb. 1, 2022, police discovered an abandoned car with a broken window. Police say that nearby they found the body of Danielle Hoyle, 27, who had been shot to death.
The body of Danielle’s 2 day old infant daughter Kennedy Hoyle was never found despite a five-day search by authorities in frigid temperatures along the Mississippi River at the north end of Mud Island.
Danielle’s relatives told police that she was on the way to meet with Brandon and that she had their newborn baby with her in the car seat, Media Take Out has learned.
According to police, they located and questioned Brandon, who was married. During questioning, however, he confessed to the crime and told them that he had thrown her in the river.
Brandon also refers to himself a “rapper” and has posted a few music videos on YouTube. The most viewed video, has less than 1,000 views.
