Manhattan law firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas, and Sacks has dropped Sean “Diddy” Combs as a client after popstar and actress Lady Gaga reportedly threatened to leave.
The American Horror Story star gave the law firm an ultimatum in light of the mogul’s legal issues and they chose her over the Baby Boy founder.
“Lady Gaga said she was leaving [the firm] if they didn’t drop Diddy,”an insider told The Blast. The insider added that the firm felt “she’s too big to lose” and that her exit would activate other celebrities to also walk away.
Diddy’s key to the city of New York was revoked and his Diddy Day in Miami Beach was also discontinued.
“I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence,” New York Mayor Eric Adams wrote in a letter to Diddy. “Our city has worked tirelessly to make sure survivors are heard and seen by our administration.”
