Malia Obama is making her writing debut on the BIG SCREEN. Media Take Out learned that Malia wrote her first film, a short film entitled “The Heart” which premiered at the Short Film Program 1 during the 2024 Sundance Film Festival at Prospector Square Theatre.

And from what we hear, the movie was AMAZING. One person who attended the screening told us that Malia has a TON of talent.
The insider, who worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood told Media Take Out, “Malia has a ton of talent – she’s going to be the next Ava Duvarney.”

Malia’s father Barack is an American politician who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first African-American president in U.S. history. Obama previously served as a U.S. senator representing Illinois from 2005 to 2008, as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004, and as a civil rights lawyer and university lecturer.
