Kelis responded to fan’s question about whether she and her ex-husband Nas will ever get back together…but the singer says she will never be getting back with her ex.
“NAS & KELIS y’all need to double back, give love another chance,” the fan wrote. “Blessings.”
“Stop, it was 15 years ago,” Kelis responded. “Do you want your ex from almost 2 decades ago?” she added.
Another fan then hopped into the comments to tell Kelis to “give Nas his bread back.”
“Lol he owes me actually,” Kelis clapped back. “Get outta here, only a loser is worried about someone else’s money lol please.”
Kelis and Nas were married for nine years before she eventually filed for divorce. In an interview after their divorce, she claimed the rapper had been abusive during their relationship, saying the rapper would drink heavily until he was blackout drunk and then become violent towards her. She also claimed Nas would not remeber his violence the morning after.
Kelis also claimed that Nas did not properly pay child support for their son.
