Jay-Z is officially headlining the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.

The music mogul will take center stage on Feb. 14 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, following a joint announcement Monday from the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has worked with the league since 2019, when Roc Nation began advising on its entertainment productions.

At the time, he made his position clear to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

“If this is about me performing at the Super Bowl, then we can just end this conversation now,” he said.

Goodell later revealed that he told the rapper to perform “whenever the moment felt right to him.”

“Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “This run continues to be a dream come true.”

The announcement comes days after Jay-Z wrapped a series of anniversary concerts celebrating his iconic 1996 album, Reasonable Doubt.

His SoFi Stadium performances featured his daughter, Blue Ivy, playing piano, while Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Too $hort joined Saturday’s finale.

Jay-Z now follows his wife, Beyoncé, who has performed at the Super Bowl twice. Roc Nation will executive produce the show.
